ESF25 was the 35th anniversary year of in ESF in Ayr and it was a sell out once again, with 150 teams from all over Scotland, Northern Ireland and England joining us on tour. We’re delighted to be returning once again in 2026, to stage two of the very best youth football festivals in Scotland!
The Old Racecourse sports ground in Ayr is transformed into a fantastic 14 pitch venue to stage the event. Located just 2 miles from Haven, it’s the perfect base for an exciting youth festival. Special guests at the ESF Ayr presentations in recent years have included Scott Brown, John Hartson, Steven Davis and Kenny Miller!
All teams are accommodated at Haven’s award winning Craig Tara holiday park, which is set on the beautiful West Coast of Scotland. As well as being located right next to the beach, Craig Tara has a huge range of leisure facilities, great evening entertainment and quality accommodation.
After an exciting day of action at the pitches, there’s a fantastic range of facilities for everyone to enjoy back at Haven. There’s a great indoor pool complex with flumes and slides, an all-weather multi-sports court, adventure playground areas, 9-hole golf course, indoor sports zone, go karts, climbing wall and much more.
In the evenings, the family entertainment venues give everyone the opportunity to relax with a drink whilst enjoying a full entertainment programme. Live bands, shows, cabarets and discos will ensure both kids and parents are entertained throughout your stay.

Our celebrity presentations have an electric atmosphere and are the perfect way to close the festival. VIP guests in Ayr have included Scott Brown, John Hartson, Steven Davis, Kenny Miller, Gordon Strachan, Kris Boyd, Alex McLeish, John Barnes, Barry Ferguson, Alan McInally and more.
Every team get their moment of glory when they are invited onto the stage to meet our special guest and receives a custom ESF26 medal. There are also high quality team trophies for every team, plus extra awards including the ESF Magic Moment award and the Fair Play awards in each age section.
The ESF App is packed with features, displaying fixtures, schedules and other useful tour information. You can also add ESF26 branded skins to your tour photos in the App, to share on your socials!
